Hearts for Heroes 5K | Lake-Lehman Junior/Senior High School, Lehman Township

The Hearts for Heroes 5K will take place at Lake-Lehman Junior/Senior High School in Lehman Township on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 12:00 PM. This community run/walk supports veterans while raising funds for the VA Wilkes-Barre Medical Center.
Hosted by Hearts for Heroes, a project of the Junior Leadership Northeast Class of 2026, the event invites runners and walkers to gather on the Lake-Lehman High School track in recognition of veterans and their service.
All proceeds from the race will be donated directly to the VA Wilkes-Barre Hospital. Basket raffles will also be available, and attendees who bring an item from the group’s Amazon wish list will receive free raffle tickets.
Registration is $25 in advance or $30 on the day of the event for the run. The walk costs $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the event.
