Hiking Series #2 takes place at Lehigh Gorge State Park in Weatherly on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Led by a park naturalist, this guided hike is part of a seasonal series exploring trails across public lands throughout the region.

This outing features the Bald Mountain – Vista Trails, offering an approximately 8.5-mile hike through mild to moderate, rocky terrain. Along the way, participants will experience scenic views while learning about the area’s natural history and landscape.

Hikers will meet at the Bald Mountain Trail parking lot before setting out for a morning of exercise and exploration. The program is designed for those looking to stay active, connect with nature and enjoy time outdoors in a group setting.

Participants should wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water for the duration of the hike. Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome to join.
