The Holiday Train Ride: Beer Tasting Experience departs from the Stourbridge Line station in Honesdale on Saturday, December 27 at 3 p.m. This special seasonal excursion blends scenic views, craft beer tasting, and a behind-the-scenes brewery tour for a memorable afternoon in the Pocono region.
Passengers will travel along the Lackawaxen River while enjoying two pints of craft beer from Runaway Train Brewery, paired with pretzels, beer mustard, salsa, and chips. Brewery representatives will guide the tasting and discuss the brewing process, ingredients, and tasting notes.
Once the train returns to the station, the experience continues at the nearby Runaway Train Brewery. Guests may walk from the station or drive. The second portion of the event includes a private brewery tour, a souvenir, and a hearty meal featuring a hot open-faced turkey sandwich, whipped potatoes, and green bean salad.
