International Women’s Day Celebration | Farm Arts Collective at Willow Wisp Organic Farm, Damascus

International Women’s Day Celebration will take place at Farm Arts Collective’s agri-cultural center at Willow Wisp Organic Farm in Damascus on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The free public gathering honors the 2026 theme, “Rights, justice, action for all women and girls.”
The program features an excerpt from Scattered Seeds of Troy, a new feminist performance inspired by The Trojan Women, along with a live interview with local farmer Erica Madden of Good Find Farm. In recognition of 2026 as The Year of the Woman Farmer, Madden will discuss her experiences running a small farm business.
Guests can also participate in a seed planting activity and community conversation. Attendees are invited to bring a baked good to share; coffee and tea will be provided.
