Skirmish Paintball in Albrightsville, PA, will host the Invasion of Normandy (ION) from Friday, July 10 through Sunday, July 12, 2026. Known as the world’s largest paintball scenario game, this legendary event draws more than 4,000 players from across the globe to recreate the infamous World War II D-Day invasion.
Players can join the Allied forces storming the beaches or fight with the Axis powers defending their ground. Over the course of two days, participants will battle in large-scale missions across Skirmish’s expansive fields, with tanks, castles, and bunkers creating an immersive wartime experience.
The weekend kicks off with the FREE Castle Night game on Friday evening, where registered players can battle castle-to-castle before the main event begins. On-site camping and the world’s largest paintball vendor show add to the excitement, making ION not only a game but a full weekend festival of paintball.
Whether storming the front lines or defending history, the Invasion of Normandy offers an unforgettable experience for paintball players of all levels.
