The Pitcher/Vase Class with JoAnn Pilston will take place at the Hazleton Art League in Hazleton on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 6:00 PM. This hands-on pottery workshop invites participants to create a versatile ceramic piece that can function as either a pitcher or a vase.
During the class, attendees will use a slab of hazelnut clay to hand-build their own unique vessel. Instructor JoAnn Pilston will guide participants step-by-step through the process, making the class suitable for both beginners and experienced makers.
Participants can personalize their pieces using lace textures and a selection of glaze colors. After the workshop, the pieces will be transported to Pilston’s studio in Tamaqua where they will be dried, kiln-fired, glazed and fired again before being returned to the Hazleton Art League for pickup.
The class is open to adults ages 18 and older.
Nonmember Cost: $88 (includes $48 material fee)
