Larry Slavick: Painting Realism in Reverse will take place at the Hazleton Art League in Hazleton on Saturdays from March 21 through April 18, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The five-week class introduces participants to techniques for creating realistic paintings through guided still-life exercises.
Instructor Larry Slavick will teach methods that help students understand the fundamentals behind creating realistic artwork. Participants will explore composition, shading and perspective while learning how different elements work together to build a convincing painting.
The class is designed to help beginners and developing artists gain confidence and develop practical painting skills while working with still-life subjects in a supportive studio environment.
