NEPACMS Presents: Echoes and Interludes | St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Wilkes-Barre
Friday, November 7, 2025 | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Experience an evening of expressive beauty and musical transformation as the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chamber Music Society (NEPACMS) presents Echoes and Interludes at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Wilkes-Barre on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
This thoughtfully curated program explores pivotal moments in the artistic journeys of three composers. Brahms, in his Piano Quartet in A Major, embraces lyrical expansiveness and introspection as he steps into creative maturity. *Frank Bridge’s Phantasy for Piano Quartet evokes the final glow of Romanticism before yielding to the colors of modernism. Meanwhile, a young Zoltán Kodály, guided by the folk melodies of his homeland, discovers his distinctive musical voice in the Intermezzo for String Trio.
The performance features acclaimed artists John Vaida (violin), Amy Iwazumi (viola), Theodore Buchholz (cello), and Henning Vauth (piano). Together, they bring these masterworks to life, weaving a concert experience rich in emotion, nuance, and artistry.
