Night at the Races takes place at Music Box Dinner Playhouse in Swoyersville on Saturday, January 17, 2025, with doors opening at 6:00 PM and races starting at 7:00 PM, bringing back a Kentucky Derby-themed fundraiser for adults 21 and older.
This audience-participation event shows real horse races on screen while each race is announced live. Guests receive a race program and can win cash by backing the winning horse. Admission is $10 and includes free food and beer, with a cash bar available for additional options.
Participants can purchase horses for $10 per horse per race (and name them), with 10 races total and the winning owner earning $50 per race. Door prizes, raffles, and race sponsorships are also available, and the event has reached capacity in past years.
