Olde Time Christmas in Historic Jim Thorpe returns on the weekends of December 6–7, 13–14, and 20–21, 2025, transforming downtown Jim Thorpe into an old-world, Victorian-style holiday destination. The celebration begins on Friday, December 5, with a community Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 PM, followed by Santa lighting the tree at 6:00 PM.
Visitors can stroll the charming streets, shop local boutiques, and enjoy festive décor and seasonal cheer throughout town. The event invites guests to slow down, savor the atmosphere, and support small businesses while checking items off their holiday shopping list.
On Saturday and Sunday, December 13–14, the Shop & Be Merry! promotion adds an extra reason to browse. Guests who make a purchase at participating merchants can enter to win one of 50 prizes. There are no tickets to buy for this promotion—simply shop, enter, and you could win. Additional details on participating locations and prizes will be announced closer to the event.
