Opening Day at Camelback Mountain in Tannersville on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM launches the 2025–26 winter season with fresh snow and early season terrain. Guests can start the day on the mountain as the first chairloads head up for a full day of skiing and riding.

Snowmaking crews have been working around the clock as temperatures allow, with hundreds of snow guns firing across the slopes to build a strong mix of early season runs. Thanks to ongoing investment in high-efficiency snowmaking technology, the mountain operations team is able to maximize output during each cold window and deliver consistent coverage across key areas of the resort.

At opening, guests can look forward to Nile Mile and Sunbowl trails debuting first, with Cliffhanger to follow soon after. A terrain park on Sunbowl North will also be available, giving freestyle riders a chance to session early season features.

The newly upgraded Stevenson Lift and the Sunbowl Lift will be spinning from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing convenient access to the day’s terrain. Camelback’s popular snow tubing park—recently ranked #1 in USA Today’s 10Best “Best Place for Snow Tubing”—is slated to open the following week, adding even more early season excitement for families and groups.

Guests can also look forward to night skiing and riding on select illuminated trails as the season progresses, extending the fun well into the evening and showcasing one of Camelback Resort’s signature winter experiences.
