Step back in time at the Patriots and Tories Tea at the LCCC Community Educational Partnership Center in Nanticoke on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Hosted by the Luzerne County Historical Society, this interactive spring tea celebrates America’s Semi-Quincentennial with a Revolutionary-era experience.
Guests will be transported to 1776, where re-enactors at each table will represent either the Patriots or the Tories, sparking lively discussion about independence and loyalty to the Crown. Attendees are encouraged to join the debate while learning about the political climate of the time.
The event includes a traditional sit-down tea with sandwiches and refreshments. Period attire is welcome but not required. Reservations are required, and tickets are limited.
