Tuesday, September 2 – Friday, October 10, 2025 | Gallery Hours
Sampler: Fabric Installations by Kay Healy will be on view at the Hope Horn Gallery at the University of Scranton from Tuesday, September 2 through Friday, October 10, 2025. This exhibition showcases Healy’s life-sized drawn, painted, and screen-printed fabric installations that explore themes of home, loss, and resilience.
Healy’s work is deeply rooted in community engagement, often developed through interview-based initiatives with displaced persons and senior citizens. Her immersive installations invite viewers to reflect on memory, belonging, and the power of storytelling through visual art.
Based in Philadelphia, Healy is both an artist and educator whose practice has been recognized with fellowships from the Independence Foundation, Leeway Foundation, and NewCourtland Network. She holds a BA from Oberlin College and an MFA from the University of the Arts.
This exhibition highlights her commitment to amplifying personal histories through bold, tactile works that merge fine art with narrative experience.
