Susquehanna Symphony Society Presents: The Juiceblenders Steel Drum Band will be held at the First Methodist Church of New Milford in New Milford on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 3:00 PM. The concert takes place at 69 Pratt Street and promises an afternoon of lively rhythm and Caribbean-inspired sound.
Founded in 1999 by Grammy Music Educator quarterfinalist Joel Smales, the Binghamton High School Juiceblenders Steel Drum Band is an award-winning ensemble from upstate New York’s Rod Serling School of Fine Arts. The group has released five CDs and has performed with acclaimed artists including Andy Narell, Liam Teague, Tracy Thornton, Zoro, Dave Mancini, and Harry Belafonte.
Known for high-energy calypso and Caribbean music, the Juiceblenders perform throughout the Southern Tier and beyond, helping Binghamton earn recognition as one of the top 100 communities in the nation for music education.
Admission is free for students ages 18 and under, with general admission available at the door for $15. The program is proudly supported by the Community Foundation of The Endless Mountains.
