The Wolfpack Players Present: Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet takes place at the Wilkes-Barre Area High School Auditorium in Plains Township on April 24–26, 2026, featuring evening performances at 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday and a matinee at 2:00 PM on Sunday.
This abridged production of the classic tragedy tells the story of two young lovers caught in the longstanding feud between the Capulets and Montagues in Verona. While maintaining Shakespeare’s original language, the performance offers a streamlined and accessible retelling that highlights the emotion, poetry, and timeless themes of love and conflict.
