The Unearthing of the 2026 Underground will take place at Blue Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery in Saylorsburg on Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The annual event celebrates the release of the winery’s Underground wine, which has been aged underground for nine months.
Guests can watch as the Blue Ridge cellar team unearths the buried wine and opens the barrel for the first tastings of the 2026 vintage. After the cork is pulled, attendees will have the opportunity to sample the newly released wine straight from the barrel.
The celebration also features barrel tastings, food trucks, Blue Ridge pizza and free live music throughout the afternoon and evening. The day concludes with a fireworks show to mark the holiday.
Admission is free and the event is open to all ages.
