Picture This: Festival of Lights Exclusive Sneak Peek

We visited Stone Hedge Golf Course in Tunkhannock for a private sneak peek of the 2025 Festival of Lights. Each year the golf course’s back nine transforms into a glowing winter wonderland. The popular, drive-through experience features bright displays, colorful scenes and familiar holiday favorites.

The lights twinkled in the trees, on the ponds and rolling hills as we moved slowly along the path. The air was crisp and the night sky was full of color as every turn revealed a brilliant, new display to photograph. From shimmering light tunnels to towering figures and so many familiar scenes, the entire experience offered warm feelings of nostalgia and left us dreaming of the approaching holiday season.

Starting Saturday, November 22nd, the displays will be open to everyone and the festive pavilion will be ready with warm drinks, treats, vendors and a cozy fire for cookin’ up some S’mores. Little ones can also plan to visit with Santa for a free photo. If you are looking for a bright and cheerful way to kick off the holidays in Northeastern Pennsylvania, this is the perfect place to start.
