Pittston Kicks Off St. Paddy’s Season with Festive Fun
St. Patrick’s Day season is here, and the City of Pittston kicked things off this past weekend with their 12th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The excitement began at the starting line of the Leprechaun Loop 5K. Runners and walkers weaved through the city streets as spectators cheered them on. As they crossed the finish line, sirens and flashing lights signaled the start of the main event.
80+ groups marched down Main Street, decked out in shamrocks, kilts, and every shade of green. Marching bands, dancers, and even the Little Miss and Little Mister Pittston Leprechaun winners brought high-energy entertainment to the celebration.
The crowd was just as festive. Green wigs, face paint, and outrageous costumes filled the sidewalks. Even pets strutted their stuff in Irish-themed outfits!
Pittston knows how to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day, and this year was no exception. Ready to relive the fun? Check out the highlights below!
