The Fourth Annual Girls in Aviation Day in NEPA

We stopped by the Wyoming Valley Airport on Saturday for International Girls in Aviation Day. The event was hosted by the Women in Aviation Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter and aims to teach young girls about the exciting world of aviation and aerospace.

The event featured activities including a flight-simulator and hands-on time soldering and riveting. These young aeronauts also got to learn about the science of flying and sit in a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter.
