Get Ready for The 2026 Yuengling Light Lager Jogger
The 2026 Yuengling Light Lager Jogger returns to Pottsville, PA on Saturday, April 18, 2026, welcoming racing enthusiasts and beer lovers for this annual 5K run/walk. More than just a race, it’s a celebratory occasion the entire town of Pottsville takes part in. Spectators and participants enjoy action-packed pre- and post-race festivities. From live music, food and entertainment to plenty of brews, it’s one of Northeastern PA’s biggest racing events.
Since its start in 2013, the Yuengling Light Lager Jogger has drawn sold-out crowds. And while it remains a popular local event, many participants come from all over the U.S. The one-of-a-kind race kicks off from and concludes at D.G. Yuengling and Sons, Inc., America’s oldest brewery.
Thousands of Yuengling fans from all over flock to fill the streets, restaurants and pubs in Pottsville. And many take part in the festive atmosphere in the days leading up to the event, which often includes the famous Yuengling brewery tour.
A Race to Honor and Support America’s Heroes
One thing that’s always certain at the Yuengling Light Lager Jogger is that everyone shows up to support a great cause. Proceeds from the race, benefit Team Red, White, and Blue, a nonprofit health and wellness community for veterans.

Registration is available through Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 9 a.m.

Run in person – $52.00
Run virtually – $40.00
All Race Registrants Receive:
A Yuengling Light Lager Jogger branded pint glass, an official race t-shirt,
Two Yuengling Light Lagers (21+),
A free brewery tour (prior to race day), and admission to the post race party.
Race Day:
The race begins at 9 a.m. in front of Yuengling Brewery
at 420 Mahantogo Street, Pottsville
Awards:
The top three overall female and male finishers will receive engraved Yuengling Tap Handle awards and more swag.
The top female and male finisher in seven age groups will receive a custom engraved Yeti mug,
a New Balance tote bag, and much more.
The top female and male under 10 will receive a candy trophy.
The Yuengling Light Lager Jogger steps off Saturday morning at 9 a.m.. Runners and walkers of all skill levels participate, from those looking to clock their fastest 3.1 miles to those there for the good vibes and delicious beer.
Participants begin their trek from the brewery at the corner of Fifth and Mahantongo Street, weaving through the historic community and quaint neighborhoods of Pottsville before looping back across the finish line on Seventh St. for the traditional post-race Lager and awards ceremony.
One of the highlights of the Yuengling Light Lager Jogger are the costumes. Scores of striders dress to impress, from beer-themed garb to pierogi costumes, for the chance to win prizes and be crowned best individual, duo or group (up to 6) costume.
Of course, the talk of the town is the afterparty. With live music, tasty food vendors, fresh brews and tons of vendors to explore lining Mahantongo St., the camaraderie and post-race fun are the perfect way to wrap up the Yuengling-filled weekend.
