Education and Student Life at LCCC Tamaqua at the Morgan Center
Since 2003, LCCC Tamaqua at the Morgan Center has provided students in the region with accessible options for affordable, high-quality education. The Tamaqua site allows students to take courses toward a Lehigh Carbon Community College degree while remaining close to home.
The facility includes modern learning spaces designed to support both classroom and hands-on instruction. Students have access to nursing, chemistry and biology laboratories, a spacious student lounge and an open computer lab. Additional resources such as tutoring services and library support help students stay on track academically.
The Morgan Center also houses the Scheller Nursing Simulation Center, where students practice clinical skills using high- and low-fidelity simulation equipment in a realistic training environment.
Academic Programs and Student Services
Students at the Tamaqua site can enroll in courses that apply toward several academic programs including business administration, business management, general studies, health sciences, nursing and psychology.
In addition to coursework, students can access a variety of support services. Admissions, advising and financial aid staff are available by appointment in person, by phone or virtually. Counseling, career development, disability support services and student life representatives also assist students throughout their academic journey.
Academic resources such as tutoring for English and math courses, library services and computer lab access provide additional support for student success.
