Discover the Woods and Waterfalls
The Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area is a 130-acre preserve nestled along Tobyhanna Creek. Located right off of Route 115, the nature preserve has several hiking trails, a waterfall, and picnic areas. The creek provides plenty of spots for fishing and fly-fishing.
The space is open year-round and is family and pet friendly. There are three trails: a half mile loop called Pine Trail, a mile-long loop along the creek called Highland Trail, and a more challenging 2.3-mile hiking trail called Red Blazed Creek Trail.
Adjacent to the nature preserve, the Tobyhanna Creek Waterfall is a popular draw for local nature lovers.
