Local Pro Soccer
This Pro-Amateur women’s soccer team, founded in 2023, plays in the United Women’s Soccer League Two. The Back Mountain Torrent is a local, college-age team that welcomes players aged 20-23 years old. They play within the UWS League 2 Mid-Atlantic Conference. The Torrent play their home matches at Manglesdorf Field on the Misericordia University campus in Dallas. The team is part of the locally-popular Back Mountain Soccer Club, a developmental and recreational youth soccer organization. The Torrent play 8 games against regional pro-am teams from May through July.
