Experience Serenity and Community in Susquehanna

Relax in the wide-open green space of this expansive community park in Susquehanna. Ira Reynolds Riverfront Park, named after the late borough native and lifelong Boy Scout, Ira Reynolds, was once part of the historic Erie Railyard. The 14-acre park features lighted walking trails, a pavilion and volleyball court, benches and picnic tables and access to the Susquehanna River.

This green space is home to the Russel Clapper Model Train Display, where 150 scale-model rail cars were built out of salvaged railroad wood. The locomotive on display is a replica of one of three build in 1907, which were the largest steam locomotives in the world. The park also hosts various community events throughout the year.
