Journey’s End Farm | Pure Maple & Eco Farming in Newfoundland
Journey’s End Farm in Newfoundland, PA is a small family-run farm offering eco-grown vegetables, free-range eggs and pure Pennsylvania maple syrup. Everything sold at the farm is grown or produced on-site without chemical pesticides or herbicides, with a focus on nurturing the soil and surrounding ecology.
Maple syrup production at Journey’s End Farm dates back to 1934, when the Curtis family first began tapping trees in Sterling Township. Today, the tradition continues each February as roughly 1,500 tap holes are drilled into sugar maples. As temperatures shift between freezing nights and thawing days, sap begins to flow. The sap is boiled for hours in a wood-fired evaporator, filtered to remove naturally occurring sediment and bottled in a variety of sizes. Nothing is added and nothing is removed. It is simply pure maple syrup.
Beyond maple season, the farm grows a diverse selection of vegetables, herbs and flowers using regenerative practices. Produce is available through Community Supported Agriculture shares, regional farmers’ markets and on-farm pickup. A self-service farm stand typically offers maple syrup, eggs, grass-fed beef, firewood and seasonal vegetables.
The farm also hosts guests in rustic cabins and tent campsites, inviting visitors to explore over 100 acres of woods and pasture.
Journey’s End Farm in Newfoundland delivers pure maple syrup, eco-grown produce and peaceful farm stays rooted in tradition.
