Kettell’s Greenhouse | Locally Grown Plants & Garden Favorites in Falls
Kettell’s Greenhouse in Falls, PA is a family-owned garden center supplying locally grown plants for more than 100 years. Founded by Italian immigrant Edward Kettell, the business began by growing vegetable plants for his truck farm and other local farmers. Today, the third and fourth generations continue that legacy with a focus on quality plants and community service.
Most of the plants sold at the greenhouse are grown on-site. In fact, about 98% of the inventory is started from seed or unrooted cuttings at the Falls property. This approach allows the team to maintain close attention to plant health and quality throughout the growing process.
Visitors will find a large selection of vegetable plants, herbs, annuals and perennials throughout the spring season. The greenhouse also offers thousands of hanging baskets filled with vibrant flowers. Depending on the season, shoppers may find as many as 15,000 hanging baskets available. In the fall, the selection shifts to hardy garden mums, with more than 20,000 plants offered during peak season.
Located on four acres with more than 30 greenhouses, the property provides plenty of space for growing and displaying plants. The greenhouse also partners with schools, churches and community organizations to support fundraising programs using seasonal plants.
Kettell’s Greenhouse in Falls delivers generations of locally grown plants and trusted garden favorites for home gardeners.
