Borrow a bike and explore the city… all for free!

Lackawanna Heritage Valley BikeShare is a free bike sharing program run by Lackawanna Heritage Valley. Pick up a bike, lock and helmet from their location at Electric City Roasting Company’s cafe, ECR Park.  You can use the bike and equipment all day, so get pedaling! You’ll be right near the scenic Lackawanna River Heritage Trail’s Depot Street Trailhead, where you can reconnect with nature.

To participate, you must be 16 or older and have a valid driver’s license or state photo ID. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

Other BikeShare locations include Weinberg Memorial Library, Lackawanna Heritage Valley Headquarters, Hotel Anthracite and Greater Carbondale YMCA. Bikes must be borrowed from and returned to the same location. Please check individual locations for operating hours
