Connecting the Stroud Region

The Levee Loop Trail is a 4.5-mile trail that connects East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg. The trail follows the flood levee along scenic Brodhead Creek. The main trailhead is in Dansbury Park, but it also crosses through Yetter Park, Creekview Park, and Stokes Mill Park.

With its proximity to town and even terrain, the Levee Loop provides a convenient way to escape into nature. It’s a popular place for walkers, runners, and cyclists. The creek provides an excellent spot for fishing, and a disc golf course is located right off the trail at Yetter Park. You can also easily connect to the Brodhead Greenway, a trail that begins near Mill Creek Bridge.

The Levee Loop Trail is maintained by the Stroud Region Open Space & Recreation Commission (SROSRC). They frequently hold walks and events at the trail and at parks throughout the area. A trail map is available on their website.
