Moscow Clayworks in Moscow is a community based, family-owned studio for ceramic art featuring local and international artists.
Since opening in 2010, Moscow Clayworks has hosted an “after-school” ceramics program and an adult open community studio, providing a safe space for art-making and pottery. Funded primarily by grants, these programs are offered at minimal cost to adults and free for high school participants.
Over the past fifteen years, Moscow Clayworks has mentored studio assistants and college interns, making it one of the few working studios in NEPA to invite community participation and use specialized pottery equipment.
