Pocono Manor Golf Course | Classic public golf with legendary design in Pocono Manor

Pocono Manor Golf Course in Pocono Manor is a public 18-hole course offering a storied golfing experience shaped by two of the sport’s most renowned designers—Donald Ross and William Flynn. Open to the public and steeped in history, this scenic course delivers a nostalgic yet rewarding round with mountain views, unique architecture, and over 110 years of tradition. Originally laid out in 1911 by Donald Ross and later expanded in the 1920s by William Flynn, the layout blends Golden Age design with modern playability, offering a variety of memorable challenges.

Golfers will encounter rolling fairways, beautifully maintained greens, and standout holes like the world-famous, downhill 77-yard Par 3 #7. The course has hosted legends such as Sam Snead and Arnold Palmer and remains one of the Pocono Mountains’ most iconic golf destinations. Visitors can warm up on the practice range and a unique three-hole loop before teeing off. A full-service clubhouse, snack bar, and golf shop featuring historic memorabilia enhance the experience. The course also offers golf lessons for players of all experience levels, guided by seasoned instructors with deep ties to the course’s legacy.

Pocono Manor has long been associated with the Wall family legacy. PGA Champion Art Wall Jr. called the course home, and his son Greg Wall continues to lead today as Director of Golf. The course has hosted televised matches, pro-am events, and has remained a cherished stop for both amateur and professional golfers. With its rich past, welcoming public access, and playful yet challenging layout, the course offers a golf experience like no other in NEPA.

Pocono Manor Golf Course in Pocono Manor delivers classic design, mountain views, and a public course experience rooted in over a century of golf history.
