The Red Lion Café | Comfort food, live music & local history in Pine Grove
The Red Lion Café in Pine Grove delivers hearty meals, local flavor, and a deep-rooted family legacy that dates back to the 1930s. Housed in its original building, this longtime family-run restaurant includes a tavern, a full bakery, and a warm, welcoming dining space. Originally a one-room general store opened by Ray and Minnie Morgan, the café has grown across generations into a community staple known for comfort food, friendly service, and fun local events.
A Family Legacy That Spans Generations
Over the decades, the business passed from parents to children, with each generation expanding the space and its offerings. Today, the third generation continues the tradition with Cheryl Morgan, her sons Zachary and Andrew, and a staff dedicated to honoring founder Terry Morgan’s spirit of improvement. The building has been updated four times—adding new dining rooms, a banquet space, a take-out area, and now a family-friendly game room. The tavern hosts karaoke, trivia nights, and live music every Friday.
