Schisler Museum & McMunn Planetarium in East Stroudsburg, PA is a science center offering hands-on learning focused on wildlife, natural history and astronomy. Located on East Stroudsburg University’s campus, the facility combines two immersive experiences under one admission. Visitors can explore nature and space during a single visit.
Inside the Schisler Museum, guests encounter eight wildlife exhibits featuring more than 140 specimens. Displays highlight animals, insects and ecosystems from around the world. The exhibits encourage curiosity and environmental awareness for visitors of all ages.
The McMunn Planetarium adds a cosmic element to the experience. A 30-foot digital dome presents multiple full-dome films daily. Shows explore topics such as stars, planets, the aurora and space travel. Films run about 25 to 35 minutes and are designed for a range of age groups.
Admission includes access to both attractions, with free parking available in ESU lots. Group visits, school programs and special events are also available.
