Skate the night away

Find your skating legs and take a visit to The Strand Roller Rink in McAdoo. This old-fashioned skating rink is packed with history: originally built in 1925 as the Blaine Street Movie Theatre, after sitting empty for decades, the floors were leveled and the building reopened to the public in 1997 as the beloved roller rink it is today.

All-ages open skate is available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On Wednesday nights, grab your ten-gallon hat and get ready to dance at Country Line Dancing.

The Strand offers party packages for any interest, with four themes to choose from: Roller Skating Parties, Basketball Parties, DJ Dance Parties, and Bounce House Parties.

For non-skaters, they have two rooms and a hall that can be rented out for any occasion and are perfect for anything from small gatherings to parties that can accommodate 150 people.
