Enjoy all the great outdoors has to offer at Tuscarora State Park, in Barnesville, Schuylkill County.

Tuscarora State Park is a 1,618-acre park, open year-round and hosts activities the whole family can enjoy.

The park features miles of trails across various habitats like mature deciduous forest, meadow, and agricultural fields. The Spirit of Tuscarora Trail guides hikers past the lake to the famous Spirit Tree. The trails are also perfect for spotting wildlife.

Visit during migration season to view birds of prey. Watch monarch butterflies in the milkweed fields in early autumn. Certain areas of the park allow hunting in-season.

In the summer, swim at the sand beach, launch your boat or rent one, fish, picnic, use the playground, or camp. Rent a cabin or yurt to enjoy an overnight stay. The picnic areas, pavilion, and snack bar are perfect spots for lunch.
