Fishing & Boating in the Northern Poconos

Upper Woods Pond is a deep, natural glacial lake outside of Pleasant Mount. Located within State Game Lands 159, this lake is owned by the state and managed by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.

The lake offers 80 acres for public fishing and boating. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission stocks Upper Woods Pond with trout. An accessible fishing pier is available by the launch ramp.

Upper Woods Pond allows boats with electric motors and unpowered boats.
