Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is proudly part of Jefferson Health and is dedicated to improving lives through advanced, compassionate healthcare. The combined health system became one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit healthcare organizations in 2024.

Today, the system includes 32 hospitals and more than 700 care locations serving communities across eastern Pennsylvania and neighboring regions. The network provides access to a wide range of medical specialties, research, education and community health services.

A Legacy of Patient-Centered Care

Lehigh Valley Health Network’s history of patient-centered care began more than a century ago. In 1899, a group of civic-minded women raised funds to establish The Allentown Hospital, laying the foundation for what would become today’s modern health network.

Over the decades, the organization expanded through partnerships, new hospital campuses and regional investments in healthcare access. Today, LVHN operates numerous hospitals, physician practices and outpatient care locations across Pennsylvania.

Guided by a mission to heal, comfort and care for patients, more than 17,000 colleagues across the network contribute to improving the health of the communities they serve.

Lehigh Valley Health Network continues to expand access to care in Northeastern Pennsylvania through several hospital campuses. These facilities provide emergency services, specialty care and advanced treatment options to communities throughout the region.

Patients in Northeastern Pennsylvania can access LVHN hospitals in Dickson City, Hazleton, East Stroudsburg and Pottsville. Each location offers services designed to meet the healthcare needs of its surrounding communities while connecting patients to the broader resources of the health network.
