Disc Golf: Outdoor Family Fun in NEPA That’s Above Par
Try your hand at disc golf at one of NEPA’s local or state parks for a fun and challenging way to enjoy the outdoors. To get started, all you need is a disc. Contrary to popular belief, a disc is different from a Frisbee. Think of disc golf like regular golf, but instead of hitting a ball toward a hole, you’re throwing a disc into a metal basket. When the disc lands inside the basket, you’ve completed the hole. Courses typically have 18 holes, although some may public play spots have 9.
