All across the region, NEPA’s State Parks come alive with opportunities for winter recreation. From gliding across frozen lakes and carving through quiet forest trails on skis, to strapping on snowshoes or dropping a line through the ice, there’s no shortage of ways to make the most of the cold.
Whether you’re seeking a peaceful, chilly hike through a snow-covered forest in the Pocono Mountains or family-friendly winter fun in the Endless Mountains, you’ll find it right here in NEPA’s backyard. Sixteen of our eighteen state parks stay open year-round, offering breathtaking scenery and activities for every skill level and every kind of adventurer.
