Action-Packed Mountain Activities
Winter means skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing and the action on Montage does not disappoint. With a peak elevation of 1,960 feet and a surprisingly steep vertical drop of 1,000 feet wide, riders can take on any of the 140 acres of skiable terrain morning, noon or night with 100% lit lanes. Montage Mountain features 26 trails, including 9 black diamond trails, 13 blue difficult trails and 4 green easier trails. If speed is your thing, look for Montage’s famous Northface slopes. That’s where you’ll find White Lightning along with several other black diamond and double black diamond trails.
Over at the freestyle terrain park, adrenaline junkies can jump, slide and jib until their heart’s content. The park’s design allows for continuous flow and lap after lap of toe-grabbing, rail sliding excitement. And with six lifts – 1 quad, 3 triple and 1 double chairlift, plus 2 conveyor lifts – you’ll get back to the summit and shredding quickly.
Snow Tubing
Zooming down the mountain in a tube is always a good idea. Enjoy some good old-fashion wintertime fun at one of NEPA’s most popular winter attractions.
