Peace and quiet just minutes from the city

Located just five minutes west of Hazleton, the Hazle Township Community Park serves as a welcome respite from the city. Locals crowd the park on weekends in the summer for baseball and soccer games. Children enjoy the playground and the occasional fisherman drops a line and tries his luck in Lake Irena. The park also features a real tank as part of its veteran’s memorial and a scenic walking trail that encircles the lake.
