Powerhouse Eatery in White Haven takes its name from its historic venue: a restored, early twentieth century power plant. Although it no longer produces electricity, this restaurant and bar still generates a buzz with its industrial chic décor and creative casual fine dining cuisine.

The Powerhouse operates with two very distinct menus. The dinner menu is all about tried and true dishes like their signature steaks and chops and fresh, line caught seafood. Many of the customer favorites on the dinner menu have been there since the Powerhouse opened its doors. This commitment to quality and to their customers has made Powerhouse a local, award-winning favorite for nearly thirty years.

The innovative and often changing lunch menu is where the Powerhouse allows its kitchen to shine. Featuring locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, the lunch menu offers a wide variety of salads, sandwiches, entrees and starters. And many of these items change throughout the seasons.

Menu Highlights

For lunch, start with the perfectly grilled Rosemary and Garlic Lambchops or go light with a vibrant spring salad. Move on to the Sesame Grilled Shrimp or keep it simple with the delectably fresh lobster roll. For dinner, you have to try the local favorite pork a la Powerhouse, featuring pork tenderloin, colossal crab, and creamy dill sauce. Powerhouse Eatery also offers a wide variety of Italian dishes, such as eggplant parmigiana, veal picatta and ravioli.
