Take a trip down memory lane.

Easton is the original Crayola factory location, so they’ve kept Crayola headquarters right down the road. The name “Crayola” was coined in 1902 when founder Alice Binney recognized a need for an inexpensive alternative to imported crayons of that era. She joined the French word “craie,” meaning stick of chalk and “ola” meaning oily. The Crayola brand celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2023, and today they manufacture over 3 billion crayons each year.

65,000 square feet of colorful family fun.

The Crayola Experience in Easton is packed with 29 creative attractions where color, chemistry, and technology magically combine. Explore Melt & Mold where you load your favorite crayon color into the machine and watch your crayon melt into a ring, critter, or special character. Sculpt colorful creations using Crayola’s Model Magic compound at the Modeling Madness station. At Meltdown, get ready to paint an awesome piece of art with melted wax. You can even create your very own Crayola crayon at the Wrap It Up station!

Wiggle up the melted wax tower, bounce and splat across the paint bridge, and slide out of the crayon box onto the chalk surface at the Color Playground. Maneuver and splash your crayon-shaped boat through an 85-foot water table at Water Works. These are just a few examples of what kind of fun your day will be full of.

Grab a front-row seat at the shows.

Don’t leave without seeing the show about how crayons are made. Real “crayonologists” demonstrate the process of how crayons are molded, inspected, labeled, and packaged. There’s also an animated show about a new crayon that’s been left in the factory and has to figure out his fun day ahead. These shows are at alternating times, so you can pick one to see or catch both!

Create an adventure your family won’t forget.

The entire experience is self-guided, so you can go at your own pace. You can go through it in two hours or make it an all-day-long event. Every admission ticket includes access to their 29 attractions, two tokens for special activities, and a Scribble Scrubbie. A Scribble Scrubbie is a toy pet that you can color, wash, and color again! The Crayola team recommends going through the whole experience first, because you’re able to go back to your favorite attractions.

Recharge at any point during your visit at the Café Crayola with Crayola themed foods and snacks. While you are taking a little break, be sure to check out the World’s Largest Crayon in the café seating area. Before you head home, make sure to stop at The Crayola Store with the world’s largest selection of Crayola products and unique souvenirs.
