Lakeland Orchard & Cidery is known to host a fun variety of events throughout the growing season. And this time of year, it’s all about pickin’ those apples! We recently stopped by for their popular Apple Harvest Festival. 

From now until the end of October, visitors are welcome to stroll through the orchard and handpick some of their favorite varieties. The red and golden yellow apples made for a perfect backdrop as we snapped a few pictures of families enjoying the fun.

We also made sure to stop by Berry Good Bites to sample their homemade apple dumplings. The warm dumpling mixed with the cold vanilla ice cream made for a perfect autumn treat. 

Our visit yesterday was a perfect reminder of just how enjoyable the fall season is in NEPA. And Lakeland Orchard’s Apple Fest was a heartwarming reminder of the joys of nature, family, and the delicious taste of autumn.
