Haunted Hayrides and Chilling Thrills at Reaper's Revenge in Scranton
Halloween in Northeastern Pennsylvania wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Reaper’s Revenge, one of the spookiest haunted attractions nationwide. Just outside Scranton, the sprawling, 60+ acre experience is considered one of the scariest haunted hayrides in America, and for good reason. With a mix of heart-pounding attractions, immersive sets, and actors who never miss a beat, Reaper’s Revenge draws horror fans from near and far looking to test their limits.
From the moment you step onto the grounds, you’re transported into a Halloween world unlike any other. Hollywood-level production value sets the scene, while innovative special effects and original storylines keep you on edge at every turn. Whether you’re weaving through darkened woods, stumbling across sinister clowns at a twisted carnival, or facing an apocalyptic wasteland, every attraction here has been designed to push your fears to the limit.
But this event isn’t just for adrenaline junkies. Families looking for seasonal fun can visit during the daytime for Lil’ Grim’s Family Fun Hayride, a lighthearted, scare-free version of the nighttime show.
Plan your trip with our event guide to make the most of your visit to Reaper’s Revenge. From ticket information to attraction highlights, we’ve got everything you need for a hauntingly unforgettable Halloween experience at Reaper’s Revenge.
Step aboard the wagon and journey into the depths of Reaper’s Forest, where creatures lurk around every corner. This signature attraction stretches across more than 60 acres, blending eerie sets with live scares for a ride that grows darker and more twisted as you go. It’s the ultimate haunted hayride experience — and it may just be your last.
Enter a nightmarish sideshow where deranged clowns and freakish performers have taken over. From twisted midway games to the infamous Tunnel of Love, this carnival is anything but fun and games. The Lost Carnival is packed with eerie visuals and unsettling encounters that will leave you second-guessing what’s around the next corner.
Step into a distorted world where reality unravels and nothing is quite what it seems. Walls shift, colors blur, and unnerving surprises appear at every turn in this multi-dimensional nightmare. Delirium heightens your senses and keeps you questioning what’s real, making it one of the most disorienting and thrilling attractions at Reaper’s Revenge.
Once a bustling lightbulb factory, Pitch Black is now a place of shadows and sinister secrets. After a tragic accident shut it down a century ago, locals claim the factory remains haunted by restless spirits. Guests brave enough to enter will find themselves swallowed by total darkness — and stalked by whatever still lingers inside.
In a world torn apart by nuclear disaster, Sector 13 is humanity’s last hope for survival — or so it seems. Cannibalistic mutants and psychological scares wait around every corner as you attempt to escape this high-intensity maze. With danger in every direction, survival is far from guaranteed.
During the day, Reaper’s Revenge transforms into a family-friendly destination with Lil’ Grim’s Hayride. This daytime adventure takes families on a tractor-pulled ride through the same award-winning sets, but without the fear factor. Guests can enjoy Halloween displays, a colorful 3D walk-through, live makeup demonstrations, and festive photo opportunities. Each child 10 and under even receives a small pumpkin (while supplies last).
