June Is Peak Strawberry Season at NEPA’s U-Pick Farms
Strawberry season is so close, we can practically taste it. Sure, you can pick up a carton at the local farmers’ market or the neighborhood produce stand, but the real fun is in gathering up the family and heading to one of NEPA’s u-pick berry farms. Spend an afternoon filling up your pails before enjoying a sweet reward for all your hard work. Your fingers will be pink by the end, but it’s totally worth it.
But it’s not strawberry fields forever. The season only lasts a few short weeks, so head to these local farms while they’re ripe for the picking.
Note: The picking conditions all depend on Mother Nature. Call the farms or check social media to confirm hours and availability.
