Sisters Keeping Things Fashionable For A Great Cause
Sisters, Ashely and Lauren Leighton had always dreamt of opening their very own clothing boutique. In 2023, they jumped headfirst into bringing their vision to life! They called it Uptown Girls Boutique, a name inspired by their late grandmother and “fashion icon,” Nanny, who always loved heading “uptown” for a little shopping.
In addition to living out their small business dreams, Ashley and Lauren also wanted to give back to something bigger. In honor of their mother, who is currently battling breast cancer, Uptown Girls will donate a portion of the proceeds from each item sold to either the Susan G. Komen organization or the Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA in Forty Fort. They’re thrilled that their mother will be here to watch the boutique grow and thrive for a long time to come.
