Eagle Watch Bus Trip | Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center, Stroudsburg

Friday, January 23, 2026 & Friday, February 6, 2026 | 8:30 AM–4:00 PM

The Eagle Watch Bus Trip at Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center in Stroudsburg takes participants to the Upper Delaware River on Friday, January 23 and Friday, February 6, 2026, from 8:30 AM to approximately 4:00 PM. This full-day excursion offers a chance to search for the Bald Eagle, our national symbol, in one of the best winter viewing areas in the region.

Guided by an Environmental Educator, guests will travel by bus through prime eagle habitat where the likelihood of sightings is high. Along the way, you’ll learn about eagle behavior, habitat, and conservation efforts that helped bring this once-rare species back from the brink.

Participants should bring a packed lunch and binoculars and dress appropriately for changing winter weather conditions. Scheduled stops will be made for coffee and snacks to keep everyone comfortable throughout the day.

The trip departs from the Environmental Education Center at 8:30 AM and returns at approximately 4:00 PM. Preregistration and advance payment are required, and seating is limited. To reserve a spot, call 570-629-3061. The cost is $35 per person.
