Northeastern Pennsylvania Celebrates a Proud, Long-Standing Tradition of Brewing Beer

Currently, there are 44 craft breweries making great beer in Northeastern Pennsylvania. In honor of these intrepid artisans, their tasty beers, the unique taprooms and those of us who happily imbibe, we’ve put together the DiscoverNEPA Brewer’s Loop.

The Loop covers 10 counties and stops in 28 incredible towns. All told, it stretches out over 400 miles, and makes for quite the scenic tour of NEPA — snaking along forested mountain highways, surfing green pastures, and swimming rivers cold and clear. And, if you do a little planning, you can easily string together a few mini loops for a day of brewery hopping.

The Susquehanna Stretch

This section covers 3 counties, with stops in 10 unique towns, and it includes 14 breweries. Enjoy stops in picturesque farm country, quiet Valley Communities and a few bustling cities.
