The Exchange in Bloomsburg will present Chicago Blues guitarist and singer Johnny Burgin in its Listening Room series on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 7:00 PM. Held at the Exchange Gallery, 24 East Main Street, the series highlights Blues, Americana, and Roots musicians in an intimate performance space!
Burgin, often praised for his raw and authentic guitar style, has built a reputation as a prolific Bluesman who continues to release standout albums. Elvin Bishop described his playing as “raw and rude and real,” while Blues Blast calls him “an adventurous musician who’s never shy about taking chances.”
A veteran of the Chicago Blues scene, Burgin has performed extensively across the U.S. and abroad, with critics noting his “ego-free dedication” and genuine old-school approach to the music.
