Saturday, January 10, 2026 | 6:30 PM

Owl Prowl at Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center in Stroudsburg takes place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 6:30 PM and offers an evening focused on the mysterious world of owls. Participants will start at Kettle Creek with an introduction to owl biology, behavior, identification, and an owl pellet dissection activity.

After the indoor session, the group will travel to the Tannersville Cranberry Bog for a nighttime search for owls with naturalist Darryl Speicher. Participants may carpool with staff on the bus, which has a 12-seat limit, or choose to drive separately to the bog.

Guests are asked to bring a flashlight, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and dress appropriately for the weather. This program is designed for ages 12 and up and is an excellent opportunity for nature lovers, bird enthusiasts, and curious learners to experience owls in their natural habitat.

The cost of Owl Prowl is $20 per person. Pre-registration is required; to reserve a spot, call 570-629-3061.
